Bokeh | Podcast Interview with Ashley Gerrity
Is there really anything better about being a creative professional than getting to know and appreciate the other amazing people in our crazy, little world? I first got to know Nathan Holritz from afar, as the CEO of Photographers Edit, my post-production company of choice. One day I happened to see that he was looking to start a new project, reflecting on people with unique relationship stories, so I reached out to share a little more about me and my husband Mike. Although the original project didn't quite pan out as expected, it was an absolute pleasure for Mike and I to host Nathan for an afternoon in Seattle, where we had the chance to talk a little bit about business, free-time, and thriving in a bi-coastal commuter marriage.
So, it's been a little over a year since I first sat down with Nathan for Bokeh - The Podcast and I'm super excited to be able to say that we reconnected over the Thanksgiving holiday for a follow up episode! But, in order to get the most out of our most recent conversation that is about to drop (and trust me, will have another lovely write-up on the way), you should probably hear what I said the first time around.
So, whether you find yourself on the road from point A to point B, sweating away at the gym, or having your morning cup of coffee, spend a half hour with me, Mike, and Nathan.
We talk a little bit about the book that has made a huge impact on my life (professional and personal), how I took my business from zero to fifty weddings in under five years, and how I've balanced a full-time corporate job with a long-distance marriage and a thriving creative business. If you enjoy the podcast, leave Bokeh a five-star rating and a comment. Both Nathan & I would love to hear your thoughts! And, don't forget to subscribe to Bokeh for more interviews with awesome and inspiring business owners in the months to come.
Special bonus moments include finding out how many glasses of wine it takes to make me flub words and how I react when my husband calls me "aggressive."
A Moment of Transparency:
